Main Accountabilities
Contribute to the project Theory of Change development
With the M&E Consultant, assess the planned political economy analysis, gender analysis and participatory action research to inform theory of change development and identify gaps and/or additional research that may need commissioning
Design project baseline research methodology, and oversee baseline research process and data collection in collaboration with M&E consultant
Contribute to the design of the evaluation approach (including planning for periodic internal evaluations)
With the M&E consultant, develop an approach to capture lessons learning throughout project implementation and a dissemination strategy for the project and wider stakeholders and audience Contribute to the design and draft logframe for the project, including identifying ‘result areas’, with clear measurable indicators and means of verification.
Contribute to the establishment of the results framework for the project
Contribute to the draft M&E plan including selection of tools, methods, and approaches for data collection and analysis.
Contribute to the development of data collection tools and methods
Assist project partners in the use of M&E tools and provide guidance and training to apply tools and approaches
Ensure the collection of data against indicators to report on the project progression Provide quality assurance of information and data that is collected and collated
Conduct M&E project field visits
Ensure that all deadlines for activities and deliverables relating to monitoring and evaluation are upheld and activities are coordinated effectively both within the project team and with appropriate external partners and stakeholders
Report to the Team Leader and project team on evidence of project progress against log frame
Provide inputs, information and statistics for monthly, quarterly and other reports to the Team Leader and Project Team.
